18 June 2016 - Day 77 - Fitzroy Crossing

Today we hit the road early and headed for Fitzroy Crossing.  On the way we stopped at Halls Creek for petrol, there wasn't much there except for alot of local people.

When we arrived at Fitzroy Crossing we met back up with Robyn and Stan and then went for a drive around town.  Our first stop was Geiki Gorge where we saw a few freshwater crocodiles on the banks sunbaking.

Then we stopped and watched the local AFL football match.  It was very violent and as soon as the elder came on the field for each team the players would settle down.  It was interesting to watch.  Some players play in bare feet, others in socks and some in boots.
